Gamma Rays

As you can see, this visible band is quite small in relation to the rest of the EMF spectrum. And though we are now much more familiar and aufe with most of the spectrum, the gamma rays are still quite mysterious, even more so since we have been listening and looking for these rays in the cosmos too. This brings me to the interesting phenomenon of the two "fermi bubbles" as they are called on the "vertical axis" of the milky way.

I just recently took a jaunt down to the field of gamma rays. In the total range of electro-magnetic frequencies, our focus is generally on the visible part of the specturm and its immediate neighbours - infrared and ultra-violet, and further into radio waves, microwaves and even x-rays (which are actually a low-frequency form of gamma rays).

However, a much less explored area is that of gamma rays, which are the high-energy frequencies that occur at t he "top" of the EMF spectrum. The ones we were aware of, until recently, were all produced by a change in the nucleus, thus we find them in the explosion and creation of stars and cosmic events of that nature. Then recently we found that the earth emits gamma rays, though we are unaware of a source, plus there are many gamma rays in the cosmos (almost 1/3) that we have no idea of what is producing them, and finally these two strange bubbles that we have detected around the milky way. 

One of the strangenesses here is that it resembles one of the higher, d-orbitals of the atoms.

Another interesting fact is that the earth is being bombarded with these high-energy gamma rays, and it is the atmosphere, acting like a skin, that protects us from these "destructive" rays.

But all of this investigation was prompted by an interesting article I which I titled "Gamma Rays & God", a version of which can be found on Joe Lanyadoo's website, "http://theoriginoflanguage.com", from which the original article was taken - unfortunately I could not locate it again on the website. But Joe is the one who came up with the idea, and although it is at times a stretch, he tenders a very interesting hypothesis, and that is that the telepathic communication from "God" or the angels, is transmitted in images, and the He (God) uses the gamma rays to communicate with us (and possibly other species as well). Now, before you rush away saying what rubbish, hear me out for a moment.

Gamma rays are the highest frequency electro-magnetic waves that we are aware of. If God was from a realm of existence that was of a "higher" or more subtle frequency, one which we are unable to sense, then it would make sense that if there was any part of that subtle frequency that we would be able to sense, it must be in the higher frequencies. One could propose that gamma rays are the lower or more dense "spiritual" energy that exists in the universe.

And we have become "objectively" aware of these waves. That is a huge jump in consciousness.

And What of Shamans?

 

Capable of Causing eclipses by Swallowing the Sun

Shamanism has blossomed these past years and rightly so, as it is very needed on our Earth at this time. But what of the shamans? How do we know who is real, who is true? As I have walked this path, I have come across many shamans, shamans from indigenous cultures who may have been great healers but have taken advantage of the energy of others, shamans who are not initiated into any particular culture, but they are impeccable in their work. Some shamans are full of ego, some have incredible gifts and talents, and some are just for show. There are techno shamans, ceremonialists, shamans who live in wildness, and some work quietly at home. Many are good healers, and some are better teachers. There are shamans who will not be called shaman, preferring another name, and some who do not care what others call them. We all have the archetypal shaman healer inside us, but not everyone is called to work this way on the outside, to totally BE that very Nature.

To do this requires fortitude and many years of training with teachers. This is an imperative action. I am very grateful to my teacher...forever, as she has helped me grow into myself, and she has blessed me with the energy of her lineage, filling me to this day.

Shamans are wounded healers, humans, everyone has been through trauma and pain. It is this experience and wisdom that helps them expand and connect with the one who needs their help and assistance. But here is the caveat, it is essential that they continue to do their own work too, it is absolutely necessary that they clean out their own thoughts, their own inner landscapes and continue to clear their non desirable patterns. Otherwise they run the risk of falsity, of over empathy, and thus holding a clients energy down instead of releasing it.

As shamans, we are here in human bodies, and the more I do this shaman work, the more human I become. I am honored.

Calling your Spiritual Guide

 

Guides come to guide you; they are not your boss. You are your boss. You are not their boss.

Guides are numinous embodied energy. Embodied as a recognizable being, they arrive in many shapes and sizes. I notice that it does not matter what culture a person comes from, angels, jaguars, wolves, porcupines, phoenixes, can appear. The shape they come in tells us something of the nature of the energy they bring to assist us, or what it is we need to work with.

We all have guides and we can all call them. We need to be open, commanding with clear intention (who wants to receive a wimpy guide?). Do this in your sacred space where you will be undisturbed. Take your time and let it be a sacred event, something special. If no one comes, that’s OK, another time will come. You can also receive guides in ceremony or with a shaman to facilitate you.

There is wonderful love and compassion with our guides and if not, question your need for a guide who is not loving you. The frequencies of guides we want to attract are sacred, loyal, and trustworthy. We have our own frequency, and a blend of many other frequencies that we enter or activate. Receiving a deep and potent Panther may be a frequency of energy that challenges us in our ruthlessness; or encourages us to understand the powerful shadow side of our moon, the beauty in the dark. A praying mantis reminds us to be still, especially when we are blocked by trying to make decisions. The mantis never makes a move unless she is totally positive it is the right thing for her to do. Whatever the medicine of your guide, you need to feel happy with them in the sweet spot in your centers.

Our frequencies are our own and we are responsible for them.

Look into your new guides eyes, they must respond and look into your eyes too. If you feel uneasy, tell them thank you, but no thank you. They must leave, you do not want any lurkers...

They must arrive in front of you or from your right. They must tell you their names, ask them. Do not share these names with anyone. It may be a peculiar name, no matter; it is for your personal relationship only.

They must tell you what they will be assisting you with.

They can be with you all the time or anytime, this depends on what you want. You can discuss this. You can call upon your guide from anywhere. Breathe!

Sometimes a person has Water as a guide, or Jesus, or a plant and that is OK, they must still arrive when you need them. Sometimes we have a few guides for different kinds of work.

Pay attention to your guides often so that your relationship grows and the energy doesn't dissipate. Smell them :) You let their energy flow in you.

Workshop ~ Adventure 1 ~ energy.

There is a lot of info and talk about ENERGY, having energy, seeing it, running it, and doing something with it. There are many types of energy that we dance in, blunder around in. I would like us to work a little more closely with some of them. This Saturday afternoon, @ 3pm, 13th April, I would like to share (vibrate sound and light) perspectives and practical ways of handling it. These will be Medicine Spaces, and here we will do some practical exercises with our auric fields, find fulcrums, points of Zero Space (centering), disentanglement, relationship (the energy between two points), barriers and constraints. We will practice shield body exercises, protecting, clearing and repairing outer shields and nurture inner shields. Be prepared to do some movement that may be challenging, though not compromising

Making Rattles

A simple shamanic tool with many uses. Traditionally a rattle was made with organic materials, but we can use tins, or bottle tops too, as rattling is essentially about breaking up static energy with intention, or calling an attention, settling energy, making protective barriers and focusing. SOUND (ENERGY) vibration, a tiny sonic boom, can be very useful in aiding a person to project energy.  We are the ones who shake out a particular sound vibration from a container and it can take a long time to master. Like the drum, the rattle serves as a bridge from everyday consciousness to sacred altered states. It can assist us to turn down internal dialogue and becomes the vehicle you ride into dreamtime and Mystery. It is excellent for doing diagnostic work, for opening up areas where energy is blocked, for re-establishing energy flow, and for helping to remove dense energy.

Some rattles have medicines such as acorns or shells and bells tied on the outside; some have beans, bones or seeds enclosed on the inside. What you put in your rattle will determine the sound produced: beans can be sharp and staccato. Gem stones and pebbles a harder heavy sound. Sea shells a brighter rushing sound, and seeds create a soft swirling effect. Have a Google of images and materials to make rattles. You are also welcome to buy one of those R10 maracas from a Chinese store, feel if it feels OK as a basic, you can paint and decorate that, and make it in as your own.

Sunday @10am. Bring materials, we will journey for our personal information on our rattle and then make them. I imagine we will be finished @3pm, so bring some lunch to share.
